Yet another bulletin board (in German about any such Internet forum ) or YaBB for short is software that can be used to operate a web forum so that participants can have a discussion on the Internet. The first version of YaBB was released in July 2000, the first stable version 1.0 in September 2000.

Programmed YaBB was in the free programming language Perl . YaBB itself is also free software and is under the YPL (YaBB Public License), a license related to the GPL . YaBB does not save the data in a database, but stores it in a special file. For other languages besides the standard English, such as German, Polish and Russian, so-called “YaBB Language Packs” can be downloaded from the official website.

YaBB is not to be confused with YaBB SE , from which the Simple Machines Forum arose. Another free web forum , but based on PHP and MySQL .
