Yamaneko Group of Comet Observers

The Yamaneko Group of Comet Observers (YGCO) is a well-known group of Japanese astronomers and comet observers . It was founded in 1980 by the astronomers Akimasa Nakamura and Kiyotaka Ichikawa . The members operate observatories in Chiyoda YGCO Chiyoda Station as well as in Hoshikawa and Nagano YGCO Hoshikawa and Nagano Stations and have documented approximately 12,300 astronomical and 6,300 photometric observations.
