Emergence

Waltari singer Kärtsy Hatakka had the idea for the project in 1992. In the following year he composed a large part of the symphony . At the end of 1994 Hatakka came into contact with Riku Niemi , a Finnish conductor and composer. Hatakka finished his composition and Niemi arranged it for the orchestra. The world premiere took place on August 22, 1995 at the Taiteiden Yö Festival in Helsinki - together with Avanti! Symphony Orchestra - instead. The studio album was created in late 1995 and was released in 1996.

A second performance took place in 1997 in Turku with the Turku Symphony Orchestra .
