Yulia Zagoruychenko
Yulia Zagoruychenko ( Russian Юлия Загоруйченко , Julija Sagoruitschenko ; born September 11, 1981 in Belgorod ) is a Russian professional tournament dancer .
Life
Yulia Zagoruychenko began seven years ago with the dance sport . At the age of twelve she became Russian junior champion. For financial reasons, she had to choose between standard and Latin dance as a 16-year-old. She chose Latin and moved to the United States when she was 21 . There she became US National Professional Champion with her former dance partner Maxim Kozhevnikov .
She has been dancing with Riccardo Cocchi since 2007 and reached the finals of every WDC World Cup with him. On November 20, 2010 they became World Latin Professional Champion together and defended the title in 2011 and 2012 as well.
