Yves Bossart

Yves Bossart (* 1983 in Lucerne ) is a Swiss philosopher , author and moderator .

Career

Yves Bossart studied philosophy, musicology and history at the universities of Lucerne, Zurich and Heidelberg. In 2012 he received his doctorate at the Humboldt University in Berlin on the subject of “Aesthetics according to Wittgenstein. A systematic reconstruction ». He worked as a high school teacher and has been an editor and producer for the “ Sternstunde Philosophie ” program on Swiss radio and television (SRF) since 2013 . Since January 2017 he has also been the presenter of the program, which is broadcast on SRF 1 on Sundays . In 2014 his philosophical introductory book “Without Today there would be no yesterday tomorrow. Philosophical thought games »(Blessing). He played a key role in the realization of the animated film series “Filosofix - Philosophy animated”.

Bossart regularly gives interviews, gives lectures, moderates discussions and was a guest on Swiss radio and television. It is his concern to convey philosophical questions in an understandable, realistic and entertaining way. Bossart lives in Zurich with his wife and daughter.
