ZADAT

The method ZADAT ( Z oll A EGISTRATION on DAT enträgern) was a method relief in the area of the former collecting customs procedure (now simplified registration procedure or clearance).

According to customs regulations, those involved who have more than a minimum number of imports per month can obtain a collective customs procedure. This offers some bureaucratic relief compared to the normal import procedure.

The ZADAT procedure made it possible for those involved to obtain a complete list of all imports in a billing period (usually the calendar month) via ISDN or diskette / CD-ROM instead of using the official form 0512, as is otherwise common in the collective customs procedure, to the data center of the Federal Tax Administration in Düsseldorf to be transmitted, which prints out the ZADAT declaration and sends it to the responsible clearing customs office .

The ZADAT procedure, like other procedures (form 0512 or Listbild), became obsolete with the introduction of Atlas EGZ.
