In the TMK 2200 (in Media and NT 2200 or ZET 2200 ) is one of the Croatian consortium Crotram manufactured low-floor - tram -Gelenkwagentypen which during Trams in Zagreb at the service of the local transport company Zagreb Electric Tram is (ZET) in use.

1st series interior

The basic version of the TMK 2200 is 32 meters long and has a top speed of 70 km / h. You have 46 seats and 156 standing places. The order followed in 2003, the prototype was delivered to Zagreb in December 2005, followed by the series delivery of the first series until 2007. This was worth the equivalent of 112 million euros and consisted of 70 vehicles. For modernization reasons, a second series consisting of a further 70 vehicles was ordered in 2005, which was delivered between 2007 and 2010 and had a total value of 130 million euros. Compared to other vehicles, the production costs were lower, which, however, did not lead to any further orders from other companies despite trial runs in cities such as Helsinki (2007) and Sofia (2008). ZET is currently planning another order for vehicles to a. to replace the remaining Tatra- type railways .

The structure of the TMK 2200-K or TMK 2300 is similar to the TMK 2200, but it is made up of three parts and has only 30 seats and 90 standing places. There are currently two prototypes in Zagreb with a plan of 60 ordered series vehicles. It is to replace the high-floor vehicles on the less frequented lines, some of which are up to 50 years old.

Axle-free wheel train

The axle- free drives were developed and supplied by the German company Henschel Antriebstechnik GmbH . They work autonomously and are controlled by a total of 43 synchronous computers in the TMK 2200. The chassis and the drive concept were developed by the German company SAMES Rad-Schiene Systemtechnik GmbH . Since there are no axles between the wheels, the floor can be made at about entry height.
