Zaklodzie (meteorite)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Zaklodzie is a meteorite that was found in 1998 near the village of Zakłodzie in the rural municipality of Radecznica in Poland . The mass found is 8.68 kg.

Zaklodzie contains a high proportion of metal and must be used under reducing, i. H. oxygen-deficient conditions. Although there are similarities to the enstatite chondrites , zaklodzie also shows achondritic structures. Therefore, like Itqiy , this meteorite is often referred to as the primitive enstatite achondrite.
