Magic mill Merklingen
Zaubermühle Merklingen is a theater in Weil der Stadt near Stuttgart , in which only magic shows are played.
history
After years of performing magic with a circus wagon all over Germany, the artist couple Frascatelli & Tre Face found an old mill building near Stuttgart, in Weil der Stadt, Merklingen district , as their permanent residence. The top floor was converted into a museum with an integrated theater hall.
The theater room
The theater hall has 100 seats in 8 rows, which are arranged in a curious ascending way: the first two rows consist of chairs, of which the legs of the chairs have been shortened by a few centimeters in the first row. The next rows are arranged in an ascending order with massive wooden benches. An area is available for catering within the theater room.
Award
In 2013 the two artists were honored with the Johann Nepomuk Hofzinser Memorial Ring for their outstanding performance in the field of magic, especially in their theater.
