Zbigniew Balcewicz
Zbigniew Balcewicz ( lit.Zbignevas Balcevičius ; born July 27, 1946 in Zaviasai near Maišiagala , district of Vilnius ) is a Lithuanian journalist and politician.
Life
In 1965 he graduated from the Vilnius Pedagogical School and in 1972 the law degree from the Vilniaus universitetas . From 1965 to 1981 he worked as a teacher in the school, at Komsomol and CPSU , from 1981 to 1988 in the Vilnius City Council . From 1990 to 1992 he was a deputy at the Seimas . From 1995 he was a freelance journalist.
From 1993 he was a member of the Lietuvos lenkų rinkimų akcija , a Polish party in Lithuania.
