Zbigniew Rudziński

Zbigniew Rudziński (born October 23, 1935 in Czechowice ; † May 8, 2019 or May 9, 2019 in Warsaw ) was a Polish composer and music teacher .

Rudziński studied composition with Piotr Perkowski at the Warsaw State Music Academy from 1956 to 1961 . From 1965–66 he studied with Nadia Boulanger in Paris on a French government scholarship , and 1970–1971 followed a year of study in Holland.

From 1962 to 1968 Rudziński was musical director of the Warsaw Documentary Film Studio. Since 1973 he has taught composition, conducting and music theory at the Warsaw Music Academy, where he received a full professorship in 1989.
