Zeb un-nisa
Zeb un-nisa (* 1638 ; † 1702 ) was a member of the Mughal dynasty .
Zeb un-nisa was born in 1638 as the daughter of the later great mogul Aurangzeb . She probably had a close relationship with her aunt Jahanara Begum .
It is believed that Zeb un-nisa wrote poetry under the pseudonym Makhfi . She was also active as a patron of scholars (such as Muhammad Safi Qazwini or her teacher Sa'id Ashraf ).
In Lahore she had the gardens named after her laid out, of which only remnants (including the imposing gateway to Chauburji ) are left today. Like her sister Zinat un-nisa , she had apartments built for Sufis .
