The Übelgünne colliery is a former hard coal mine in Bochum-Eppendorf . The mine was also known as the Ubelgünne colliery .
Mining history
A length field was awarded on April 5, 1747 . From 1754 to 1756 the mine was in operation with three miners . There is evidence that the mine was also in operation in 1762 and 1763. On March 28, 1765, an extension for the length field was awarded. The mine was in operation in 1769. In 1783 the deposit above the tunnel floor was mined . The workers in the mine were therefore forced to wait for a deeper solution from the master keyer in the Erbstollen . On March 14, 1828, the Längenfeld Übelgünne No. 3 was awarded. On July 28, 1829 , the Übelgünne colliery consolidated with other mines to form the United Engelsburg colliery.
