The Rönsberghof colliery was a mine in Duisburg-Beeck .
The bay was in 1909 sunk . Initially it was intended as a weather shaft for the Friedrich Thyssen 3/7 and 4/8 collieries . In 1915, however, coal mining began. In the first year, 660 employees mined over 250,000 tons of coal. In 1925, the colliery achieved the highest annual output with approx. 326,000 tons (1470 employees) . In 1926 the mine was assigned to the Westende colliery , and in 1930 the cableway in the shaft was shut down.
