Ten Thousand Buddha Hall and Kongshui Cave

The Ten Thousand Buddha Hall ( Chinese  万 佛堂 , Pinyin Wànfótáng ) and Kongshui Cave ( kǒngshuǐ dòng , 孔 水洞 ) are located in the west of the village of Wanfotang 万佛 堂村 of the Hebei community in the Fangshan district of Beijing .

The Kongshui Limestone Cave has statues and inscriptions on the walls. In the above Wanfotang ("Ten Thousand Buddha Hall") the walls are decorated with many Buddha stone statues. Kongshui Cave, with one of the largest underground springs in Beijing, is of great value for studying the religious arts of the Sui and Tang dynasties.

A brick pagoda from the Liao Dynasty is located above the mountain.

The Ten Thousand Buddha Hall, stone carvings of Kongshui Cave and Pagoda (Wanfo tang, Kongshui dong shike ji ta 万 佛堂 、 孔 水洞 石刻 及 塔) have been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China since 2001 (5-200) .
