Tenth house

The tithe houses are located in the lower part of the city of Bad Wünnenberg in the Paderborn district .

history

The Zehnthaus Lückemeyer was built in 1719 on behalf of the Paderborn Prince-Bishop Clemens August von Wittelsbach , Duke of Bavaria. The buildings were used to store the tithe levies that had to be paid to the church. Next to the main building is the Lückemeyer barn, built in 1867. This was later converted into a residential building and inhabited. An old painting on the south side of the barn shows its former appearance.
