The Zeitschrift für Miet- und Raumrecht , ZMR for short , is one of the leading German legal journals in the field of tenancy law and residential property law . It bears the subtitle: Rent, lease, leasing, residential property, housing benefit, development contribution law .

It publishes court decisions, some with annotations, and articles. The magazine is aimed at house and landowner associations and tenants' associations as well as lawyers , housing companies, courts and authorities.

The magazine appears monthly, first in 1952. It is published by the Düsseldorf Werner Verlag in the Wolters Kluwer Germany publishing group .

The editors are Joachim Rau and Olaf Riecke. There is also an editorial advisory board with over twenty members. a. Wolf-Dietrich Deckert, Hans-Joachim Driehaus , Siegbert Lammel, Klaus Lützenkirchen, Michael J. Schmidt and Friedemann Sternel belong.

The ZMR appears with a printed edition of 2,800 copies.
