The magazine for scientific geography, taking into account the higher geographic education , appeared in Weimar from 1880 and was founded by Julius Kettler , the head of the Bertuch Geographical Institute at the time . The magazine dealt with scientific geography and, according to its full title, also served to teach high school graduates and students, for example. According to previous knowledge, the sheet was presumably published until issue 8 in 1891.
