Newspaper package

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In the postal system , newspaper parcels are parcels that only contain newspapers or magazines (no other items, e.g. no handwritten or printed messages, circulars, invoices and the like) and are sent by the publisher or a printing company on his behalf. Newspaper parcels were introduced as a new dispatch item in internal traffic on April 1, 1921; this form of dispatch was already available in Bavaria in 1837.
