Time availability

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The time availability is a key figure for the energy industry and is determined as the quotient of the availability time of a thermal power plant and the calendar time . It thus represents the ratio of the availability of a power plant as the ratio of the operating and reserve time to the calendar time. It is calculated without taking into account underperformance during the operating time.

k t is the time availability, t V the availability time and t N the nominal time. t NA is the unavailability time.

On the basis of the work availability of a plant, it can be determined how much work a plant can perform based on its technical and operational condition, based on a period of time. The work availability is always less than the time availability.
