Cell (sociology)
In sociology, a cell is a closed, mostly self-sufficient group of people who pursue the same goals. Mostly they also share a similar worldview and social position .
Examples are:
- Action cells of a party or a citizens' initiative
- religious-socially motivated working groups, e.g. B. Marriage Encounter
- Intensive small work groups in a company or a leisure enterprise
- " Terror cells " to prepare for attacks.
