Center for Citizen Education and Human Rights
The Center for Citizen Education and Human Rights (Russian Центр гражданского образования и прав человека ) is a non-governmental organization in Perm , Russia , which is committed to educating citizens about their rights.
activity
The center conducts seminars and trainings in which the participants should be enabled to get to know and enforce their civil rights. The events are aimed primarily at students of the Perm Pedagogical University, teachers and activists from social organizations. There are competitions for students and teachers.
The center also advocates the rights of immigrants. Chairman is Dr. Andrei Suslow.
history
The center was founded in 2003 with the support of the Polish Helsinki Committee for Human Rights in Warsaw. On March 14, 2016, it was registered with the Ministry of Justice as an " Organization in the Function of a Foreign Agent ".
