Tool smith
The tool smith made various tools . He was also called a kit smith , circle smith or Zirkler, as well as small smith . In the early days of tool manufacture, mainly forestry tools such as hoes, special knives and splitting tools were made.
In the Middle Ages, the locksmiths (in contrast to the "large blacksmiths" who worked pig iron) were also among the small forges.
Still exerted related workers are farrier and blacksmith .
