The Zeytinova Dam ( Turkish Zeytinova Barajı ) is located above the village of Zeytinova , 7.5 km east of the city of Bayındır in the Turkish province of Izmir .
The Zeytinova dam was built in 2011-2014 on the Falaka Çayı, a right tributary of the Little Meander ( Küçük Menderes ). The dam is used to irrigate 3568 hectares. The barrier structure is an 84.5 m high gravel-sand embankment dam with a clay core . The dam volume is 4.7 million m³. The reservoir covers an area of 1.52 km² with normal damming. The storage volume is 33 million m³.
