The city of Zhangshu (Chinese 樟树 市Zhāngshù Shì ) is an independent city that belongs to the administrative area of ​​the independent city ​​of Yichun in the northwest of the Chinese province of Jiangxi . In 1999 it had 534,919 inhabitants.

The Wucheng site (Wucheng yizhi 吴 城 遗址), the former site of the Provincial Party Committee of Fujian, Zhejiang and Jiangxi (Min Zhe Gan sheng-wei jiguan jiuzhi 闽 浙赣 省委 机关 旧址), the Neolithic Zhuhabeng site (Zhuhabeng yizhi 筑卫 城 遗址), the Fanchengdui site (Fanchengdui yizhi 樊城 堆 遗址) of the Fanchengdui culture from the late Neolithic and the Mingshui Bridge (Mingshui qiao 鸣 水 桥) are on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China .
