The Zhanyi District ( 沾益 区 , Zhānyì Qū ) is a district in the east of the Chinese province of Yunnan . It belongs to the administrative area of ​​the prefecture-level city of Qujing . Zhanyi has an area of ​​2,910 and 2,801 square kilometers and has 403,460 inhabitants (2005). Its main town is the large community of Xiping ( 西 平镇 ).
