Luliang

The Luliang District ( Chinese  陆良 县 , Pinyin Lùliáng Xiàn ) is a district in the east of the Chinese province of Yunnan . It belongs to the administrative area of ​​the prefecture-level city of Qujing (曲靖 市). Luliang is located on the upper reaches of the Nanpan Jiang . The district has an area of ​​2,096 km² and around 610,000 inhabitants (end of 2004). The census in 2000 counted 581,764 inhabitants.

Administrative structure

At the community level, Luliang consists of eight large communities and two communities . These are:

  • Greater community Zhongshu (中枢镇), capital, seat of the district government;
  • Greater community Banqiao (板桥镇);
  • Greater community Sanchahe (三岔河镇);
  • Majie Municipality (马 街镇);
  • Greater community Zhaokua (召夸镇);
  • Greater community Damogu (大莫古镇);
  • Greater community Fanghua (芳华镇);
  • Greater community Xiaobaihu (小百户镇);
  • Huoshui Township (活 水乡);
  • Community Longhai (龙海乡).

In 2006 the municipality of Hetaocun (核桃 村乡) was dissolved. Part of their administrative area was assigned to Huoshui Township and another part to Shuangqingkou Township (双 箐 口 乡). The new, enlarged Shuangqingkou was then renamed Longhai.
