Zhengao

Zhengao ( Chinese  真 誥  /  真 诰 , W.-G. Chen-kao , English The Declarations of the Perfected  - "The Declarations of the Perfect ( zhenren )"; also often incorrectly transcribed with Zhen'gao ) is a work of the Chinese Daoist Tao Hongjing Scholar and Doctor (456-536). It is a major work of Shangqing Daoism , believed to have been completed in 516. The work reports on the various circumstances of the revelation to the medium Yang Xi 楊 羲 (330 – approx. 386). The standard output of the Zhengao is that of ming -zeitlichen Daoist canon ( Zhengtong daozang : DZ 1016). It is also included in the Xuejin taoyuan 学 津 讨 源 collection.
