Zhijidong

Zhijidong ( Chinese  织机 洞 遗址 , Pinyin Zhījīdòng yízhǐ , English Zhijidong Cave site ) is a paleolithic cave site in the area of ​​the independent city of Xinyang in the administrative area of ​​the independent city ​​of Zhengzhou , Henan Province , People's Republic of China (6-126). The site was discovered in 1985 and first excavated in 1990. Over 6,000 stone artifacts have been discovered.

The Zhijidong site has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China since 2006 .
