Ziggy X , actually Thomas Fenske , is a German DJ and producer from Lüneburg .

Activity as a DJ

Interest in the DJ activity was at Ziggy X in late 1998 through the track Nightingale of DJ Mind X aroused. From January 2000 he started playing at events and in clubs. In May of that year the first residency followed in the “Kitchen Base Club” in Lüneburg. In the following year a second residency was added - once on the weekend - in the Hamburg club "Paranoya". This was followed by an engagement with "Empire", a large club in Wittenburg. During his time with the Aqualoop Records label, he was resident DJ together with Rocco ( Sven-RG ) in the "Nachtarena Ziegelei" in Groß Weeden near Lübeck and toured throughout Europe. In 2008 there was a break, also in musical terms. By 2016, Ziggy's publications settled in hardstyle.

Own productions

In 2002 Ziggy X began building up his own record label "vinyl-impact presents" and his own productions. Patrick Wiechmann became its producer. The result was the track "Bass shower", which was played in clubs in Nord- u. East Germany was successful. In March 2003 the track was relocated by EMI . The "bass shower" reached top positions in the dance charts and was voted "Motorola Dance Track" of 2003 by the listeners. The track was also released in Austria , Switzerland and Denmark .

On December 4, 2003, the second single with the tracks "Speed ​​Rush" and "Heart Beat" was released on the North German label Aqualoop . This was followed by a first television appearance on the music broadcaster VIVA in the club rotation on February 7, 2004. The track “ThiZ RoX” appeared on a third single and made it into the top 10 in the German dance charts. In autumn 2005 this track was released also in Spain and Japan. In February 2005 the fourth vinyl ("X ruleZ") appeared in record stores.

In parallel to "X rulez", the benefit project Dance United was launched to support the victims of the seaquake disaster in Southeast Asia. Ziggy X participated with an implementation of the title “Help! Asia ".

This was followed by other productions that were produced in 2011 with "Cap AndritXol" for the first time in the hardstyle genre, with rather moderate success.

With "Drop The Bazz" ZIGGY X not only returned to the old music genre, but also to Aqualoop Records, where he released a total of six tracks. In spring 2019, Ziggy switched to High 5 Records with "Summer Rave" and again drew attention to intercontinental.

On January 27, 2006, Ziggy's first compilation "Bassdusche Vol.1" was released, of which there were a total of four editions. In 2009 the compilation got a new name with "Shower Of Bazz" and was released in three editions annually until 2011.
