The von Zimmerwald family was a Bernese family of notables from the late Middle Ages.

The von Zimmerwald came from Zimmerwald . Johann von Zimmerwald was wealthy in Belp and Niederwichtrach and owned a farmstead on Kirchgasse, near the Leutkirche . Johann von Zimmerwald was executor of the will of the hospital founder Anna Seiler .
