Genghis Khan Airlines (originally Tianjiao Airlines ) is a Chinese airline based in Inner Mongolia . The name of the company is derived from the first Great Khan of the Mongols, Genghis Khan . Originally, the company wanted to start flight operations with the Bombardier CRJ900 , then ordered 25 Comac ARJ21s , which are to be flown in by 2024. On February 22, 2019, the company was the second operator in the world to receive its first Comac ARJ21 after Chengdu Airlines .
