Zion Church (Batticaloa)

The Zion Church in Batticaloa ( Sri Lanka ) is an evangelical free church that also broadcasts a Christian radio program in Tamil . It was founded in 1974 by Rev. Inpam Moses and is a subsidiary of the Lighthouse Church in Kandy .

The church building is located on Central Road 34 A in Batticaloa, a city on the east coast of Sri Lanka. Senior pastor of the congregation is (2019) Roshan Mahesan.

During the Easter service on the morning of April 21, 2019, the congregation was the target of one of the bomb attacks in Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday 2019 , in which at least 27 people died and over 100 were injured.
