Tal Afar Citadel

The Tal Afar Citadel is a former garrison site in Iraq that was laid out in the Ottoman Empire . The village of Tal Afar formed around them . In 2005 the US Army used the facility. From 2014 IS occupied the citadel. In December 2014, the IS is said to have been blown up.
