Zonda (car brand)

The Zonda industrial group is a Chinese manufacturer of buses and systems for the automotive industry founded in 1994 . According to its own information, it employs more than 6,900 people at its headquarters in Yancheng and 28 other locations and produces over 15,000 buses annually.

The company received a strong media presence in Europe after a warning from a Berlin blog author who quoted a report published on Spiegel Online , which reported on the alleged forgery of a MAN model by Zonda. As part of the proceedings that MAN brought against Zonda, Zonda was sentenced to discontinue production and pay damages.
