Zoonoses and Public Health , abbreviated as Zoonoses Public Health , is a scientific journal published by Wiley-Blackwell-Verlag .
The magazine emerged from the Zentralblatt für Veterinärmedizin that was founded in 1953. In 1963 there was a split into three series, the Zentralblatt für Veterinärmedizin, series AC . The Zentralblatt für Veterinärmedizin, Series B was published in 1986 in the Journal of Veterinary Medicine. Renamed Series B, Infectious Diseases and Veterinary Public Health . It has been published eight times a year under the name Zoonoses and Public Health since 2007 . Papers will be published on infectious diseases in animals and their effects on public health .
The impact factor in 2014 was 2.369. According to the statistics of the ISI Web of Knowledge , the journal with this impact factor ranks 46th out of 78 journals in the Infectious Diseases category and tenth out of 133 journals in the Veterinary Medicine category.
