Zoute
Zoute ( French Le Zoute , Flemish Het Zoute ) is the northernmost district of the Belgian seaside resort Knokke-Heist , which is joined by the extensive Zwin nature reserve as far as the Dutch border .
On the Kustlaan , which runs parallel to the Zeedijk beach promenade , a shopping mile has been created in which numerous exclusive brands are represented with their own shops.
The chansonnier Jacques Brel sang about the place in two of his songs ( La chanson de Jacky and Knokke-Le-Zoute Tango ).
