Feeding technology
Feeding technology is the generic term for all technical equipment that is used in industrial production to convey products or workpieces in bulk to the location where they are processed or integrated into larger structures.
Components
The feeding technology sector includes systems for storing, sorting, transporting and separating products (workpieces) that are in bulk. These are in particular components such as
- Storage bunker (vibration bunker or belt bunker)
- Bunker elevators (inclined conveyors)
- Vibratory bowl feeder
- Spiral slide conveyor
- Area storage
- Step conveyor
- Linear vibratory conveyor
- Conveyor belts
- Separation systems
- Shaft conveyor
- Drum conveyor
use
The individual components are primarily used to feed workpieces in orderly alignment to further processing processes such as an assembly system and to make them available in the correct position. Here, the sorting and alignment of the parts is usually carried out with a vibrating spiral conveyor, while the other components are used to store the bulk material or to carry on and provide the ordered workpieces.
