Train number interface

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The train number interface (ZNI) - also called train number decoder - is a technical facility of the railway . It is primarily used to provide existing information from the train number reporting system for systems that are not directly connected to train control .

The train number interface connects the MAS90 network with the company's train number system. The ZNI allows the MAS90 read access to the train tracking bus (ZLV bus) or the ZLV bus collecting line (ZBS).

Zuggebundene messages in MAS90 , such as hot box alarms and stall alarms can be fitted with a Zugnummerninformation. This allows the dispatcher to clearly assign the alarms to the trains concerned.
