The Gasthaus Zum Laub is a listed historic building and tavern in Berghausen , Pfinztal in the Karlsruhe district . It was built in 1558 by Hans Jakob Becker and has been in the family for 18 generations. Many celebrities, including Napoléon Bonaparte and Hans Thoma , have been guests in the foliage over the centuries.
