Zuo Qiuming
Zuo Qiuming ( Chinese 左丘明 , Pinyin Zǔo Qīumíng , W.-G. Tso Ch'iuming ) was a Chinese author who wrote the famous commentaries on the spring and autumn annals . He was a student of Confucius , but little is known about his life. He is widely regarded as the father of prose telling. In the year 647 AD an ancestral table in the Confucius Temple was dedicated to him. It is believed that he wrote the book of Guoyu .
