The Zweirad-Industrie-Verband (ZIV), based in Bad Soden am Taunus , represents the interests of the two- wheeled industry in Germany.

The ZIV was created in 2000 from the merger of the Fachverband Fahrrad- und Kraftradteile (FTV) and the Association of the Bicycle and Motorcycle Industry (VFM). A large part of the around 85 member companies are active in the production and import of bicycles , e-bikes , bicycle parts, components and accessories. In the motorized sector, companies that manufacture motorized two-wheelers as well as three- and four-wheel vehicles such as trikes and quads are members of the ZIV .

In January 2010, the ZIV started a campaign with the "Pro Bicycle - Cycling Moves" campaign to sustainably improve the image of bicycles in Germany.

Siegfried Neuberger is managing director of the ZIV.
