description
Shape and head
The body frame is formed at the top by the slightly sloping back line, the broad shoulders and the full saddle section, at the bottom by the deep chest and stomach line. The tail is carried high. The rooster has wide sickles and long control springs. The thighs are hidden in the plumage and are relatively short. The head expression includes the dark brown eyes with the blackish eyelids. The single comb has 5 to 6 points. The hen's comb tilts to the side at the back in the flower. The wattles are medium in size and the ear discs are bluish white.
particularities
A distinctive ribbon drawing on a silver-white or golden-brown background and easy rearing under the right conditions make the dwarf Brakel a popular breed of chicken. The chicks fletch quickly. According to the laying performance of the large breed, the dwarfs also produce many eggs.
