Racial history
The breed was imported from Great Britain around 1920. Schumann, Gotha, showed animals in the correct dwarf size for the first time. The roosters were the color of partridge, the hen gold. At the same time there were whites from O. Bartsch, Berlin. Was bred again in 1956 by R. Ernst and L. Höner. Schwarz 1919 by O. Bartsch, initially only in rose-combed. Silver-colored and blue ones in 1924, striped and orange-colored ones in 1935. Porcelain-colored ones were bred again from 1975 at E. Imberger, Frielendorf.
