Reinhold Aschenberg (born November 13, 1949 in Gogarten ) is a German philosopher and retired high school teacher for German , history , ethics and philosophy as well as an emeritus lecturer at the University of Tübingen and at the State Seminar for School Pedagogy Tübingen.

Professional background

Reinhold Aschenberg went to Engelbert-von-Berg-Gymnasium in Wipperfürth and passed the Abitur there in 1968 . He studied with Hans Wagner in Bonn and with Klaus Hartmann in Paris and Tübingen , where he passed the state examination in philosophy, German studies and history. He was awarded a Dr. phil. PhD .

Since 1980 he has been a high school teacher at the Uhland-Gymnasium Tübingen , as well as a lecturer at the Philosophical Seminar of the University of Tübingen and Head of Philosophy / Ethics at the State Seminar for School Pedagogy Tübingen. Since his dissertation, he has been striving for a contemporary understanding of the Kantian transcendental philosophy in connection with Hans Wagner and has published his collected writings together with Bernward Grünewald , Stephan Nachtsheim and Hariolf Oberer. - His committed reflection on the de-subjectification of man in the Shoah and the camp system of National Socialism , which is connected with a sharp criticism of German post-war philosophy and its failings, falls outside the framework of a mere philosophical treatise .

family

He has been married to Heidi Aschenberg, b. Reininghaus, and has two daughters with her, Barbara and Rebecca.
