The double check valve or locking block is a mutually releasable in the consumer lines check valve . Twin check valves are mostly used in connection with hydraulic linear drives ( cylinders ). When interconnected with directional control valves and cylinders, they are installed between the directional control valve and the cylinder. Since these valves are absolutely tight, they enable loads to be held without drift. The twin check valve is used for B. on the hydraulic excavator .
