Zygmunt "Zygi" Wilf (born April 22, 1950 in Germany ) is an American entrepreneur and main owner of the Minnesota Vikings , an American football team of the National Football League (NFL).

Life

Zygi Wilf was born in Germany. His parents, Joseph and Elizabeth Wilf, are originally from Poland and survived the Holocaust there . The family moved to New Jersey in the early 1950s . While Wilf was studying at Fairleigh Dickinson University , his father successfully entered the real estate business . After Wilf's graduation from New York Law School , he joined the family business and took over the subsidiary Garden Commercial Properties . He expanded the previous four shopping centers to around 100 branches.

In 2005, Wilf and five partners took over the American football team Minnesota Vikings for around 600 million US dollars .
