The Austrian Football Championship 1946/47 was organized by the League Committee and contested by its members. The double-track First Class served as a substructure for the (Vienna) League . In addition, other federal state associations organized state championships in different modes.

First performance level - league

General

The championship in the league was contested with 11 teams, which met two against each other during the entire season. The champions became the Viennese Wacker, who won their first championship title and also won the double with the cup win. The last two teams in the table had to be relegated and were no longer represented in the league in the next season.
