The Bavarian State Ministry of Finance and Home is a ministry of the Free State of Bavaria with its seat in Munich and another seat in Nuremberg . Around 29,250 employees work in his division. The designation was the Bavarian State Ministry of Finance (StMF) until October 2013 and the Bavarian State Ministry of Finance, for Regional Development and Homeland (StMFLH) until November 2018 .
In the course of the state elections in Bavaria in 2018 , the previous Minister of State for Finance Albert Füracker ( CSU ) was confirmed in his office on November 12, 2018 . He has been the successor to Markus Söder ( CSU ), who was elected Bavarian Prime Minister on March 16, 2018 , since March 21, 2018 . Head of office is Ministerialdirektor Harald Hübner.
Tasks and responsibilities
In addition to the state budget , financial planning and cash and accounting, it is also responsible for the public service , surveying administration and the administration of the state companies . It is the carrier of BayernWLAN .

Service building
The official seat is the Palais Leuchtenberg , Odeonsplatz 4, next to the Bavarian State Ministry of the Interior and for Integration. The building was built by the Munich architect Leo von Klenze . On February 20, 2014, Minister Markus Söder inaugurated the second office, the Home Office, in the building of the former State Bank , Bankgasse 9, in Nuremberg , not far from the Lorenz Church . The building was built by the Munich architect Sep Ruf in the years 1950–1951.
