Biləsuvar (also Bilasuvar ) is a rayon in Azerbaijan . The capital of the district is the city of Biləsuvar . The district borders on the Iranian province of Ardabil to the west .

Bilasuvar is a South Azerbaijani rayon. The rayon has an area of 1358 km². The district is located in the Mugansteppe .

population

In 2009, the rayon had 87,300 inhabitants. This is distributed over a city and 25 villages.

economy

The region is dominated by agriculture, mainly cotton and grain are cultivated and cattle are raised.
